Our Brief
We were asked to build a stunning six-bedroom home on the private Knott Park Estate in Oxshott. The client wanted a house that combined beautiful architecture with practical family living — with leisure facilities, flexible accommodation and indoor-outdoor spaces.
The Build
1. Laying the Foundations
On a large plot, we engineered reinforced foundations to support over 7,000 sq ft of living space. We planned the structure to accommodate a heated outdoor swimming pool, triple garage and annexe.
2. The Heart of the Home
The centrepiece of the build was an open-plan kitchen, family and dining room. We installed a bespoke kitchen with Miele and Sub-Zero appliances and a scullery and Crittall-style doors opening onto the west-facing garden.
3. Lifestyle Design
To reflect modern family living, we included multiple reception rooms, a media room and a home office. Upstairs, we created six bedrooms — each with en suite bathrooms — including a principal suite with dual dressing rooms, a private balcony and a spa bathroom.
4. Craftsmanship & Detailing
From the limestone entrance hall floor to bespoke joinery in the boot room, every finish was chosen to balance elegance with durability. Bathrooms were fitted with freestanding baths, walk-in showers and marble surfaces.
5. Outdoor Living & Annexe
The garden was landscaped with a sun terrace, heated pool and fire pit area to create a seamless indoor-outdoor flow. Above the triple garage, we built an annexe with its own en suite for flexible guest or staff accommodation.
