At Luxury House Builders, we redeveloped a property on Beech Avenue in Radlett into a modern five-bedroom family home. With a 30ft open-plan kitchen and family room, landscaped gardens, and four luxury bathrooms, the house was transformed into a light-filled, contemporary residence designed for everyday living and entertaining.
We were asked to completely transform a dated property on Beech Avenue, one of Radlett’s most popular roads. The client sought a bright, modern, and practical family home with an open-plan living area at its heart, as well as quiet spaces for work and privacy.
1. Full Renovation & Rebuild
We took the existing structure back to the shell and rebuilt to create over 3,000 sq ft of luxury living space. New foundations, structural reinforcements and modern systems were installed to bring the property up to today’s standards.
2. The Heart of the Home
The ground floor was reconfigured as a lifestyle hub. We designed a 30ft open-plan kitchen, dining and family room with bespoke cabinetry, integrated appliances and a central island. Sliding glass doors opened up the space to the garden, blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors.
3. Functionality with Style
We added a utility room, a formal reception room and a private study to give flexibility. This balance of open-plan family areas and quiet retreats was crucial in making the house livable.
4. Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The first floor had three large bedrooms, including a master suite with a dressing room and an en-suite bathroom. The top floor had two additional double bedrooms, each with an en-suite – perfect for older children, guests, or live-in staff.
5. The Details
From flooring and lighting to bespoke storage, every detail was carefully selected for its quality and durability. Bathrooms had contemporary fixtures and natural materials to create a modern feel.
The finished house features five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and multiple living areas, all ready to move into. By combining structural expertise, thoughtful planning and high-end detailing, we delivered a home that meets the demands of modern family life and adds long-term value in one of Hertfordshire’s most desirable areas.
